Please join me for the first John Bray Law Alumni Continuing Professions Development session on magistrates appeals, with guest speakers Lindy Powell QC and Ian Robertson SC. The Honourable Justice Lovell will chair the session where speakers will deal with how to present a magistrates appeal and best assist the Court.
Magistrates Appeals are an important means by which the Supreme Court superintends the administration of justice in the Magistrates Court. These appeals are often conducted by junior members of the profession. In this CPD session the speakers will deal with how to present a Magistrates Appeal and how best to assist the Court. It is ideal for junior practitioners of up to 5 years’ experience and those seeking reinforcement and, perhaps, refreshment in their approach.
