The annual Adelaide Law School Prize Ceremony was held on Thursday 27th March 2014 to recognise student excellence in the 2013 undergraduate and postgraduate programs. A number of students (current and former), parents, friends, sponsors and Adelaide Law School staff and supporters were present to celebrate the achievements of which the students and staff can be rightly proud.
Guest speaker Mr Skip Lipman, a founding principal of Lipman Karas shared his journey of studying a Bachelor of Arts at Adelaide before heading to the UK to study a Master of Arts (Law) at Oxford University and a Master of Laws at the University of London before being admitted to practice in Australia in 1981. He congratulated the students on their achievements and wished them every success in their future endeavours.
The top 4 undergraduate students are annually awarded the Stow Prizes. The 2013 Stow Prize winners are Frankie Rodney, Ruxandra Voinov, Alice Wharldall with Jack Batty and Rebecca Mahony sharing the 4th prize.
The Dean thanked all for attending this special celebration and in particular the prize sponsors for their continued support in recognising excellence in the Adelaide Law School students.
